We as photographers are blessed with the opportunity to capture these fleeting moments for our clients. So capture them we will. The baby toes, the tender kisses, the belly laughs and the sunset twirls. The way her gaze captivates, the way his heart beats wildly, the giggles, the tickles, the never-let-you-go snuggles.
To honestly tell their story. To create an experience for our clients using the art of storytelling through light, styling and genuine connection. To create images that are deeper in meaning and more connected.

THAT GOLDEN HOUR CAN BE A TAD TRICKY SO WE’LL WALK YOU THROUGH ANGLES, SETTINGS + TROUBLESHOOTING DURING OUR SUNSET SESSION SHOOT OUT! EACH STUDENT WILL GET THE CHANCE TO SHOOT AS MUCH AS THEY WANT DURING OUR 90 MINUTES WITH A MODEL FAMILY AT SUNSET, ASK QUESTIONS, TRY THINGS OUT, AND BUILD THEIR PORTFOLIO.

Each participant will be treated to dinner, a swag bag of goodies, a two hour Q+A, 90 minutes of shoot time with a model family + post session drinks where we can keep the conversation going!

maggie left her full time job as an occupational therapist to stay home with her son Abe and soon after took her photography business full time. Over the past 6 years she has had organic growth in her business by building authentic relationships in person and online to watch her business flourish. She loves creating connected moments and memories for families through visual storytelling and teaches other photographers how to do the same.
She is a stay at home mom to Abram and Ezra Jo, married her best friend 7 years ago, and can be found drinking pour over coffee and planning her next home renovation on their 1914 home in the woods. She loves all things dan levy/schitts creek, vintage finds, anything related to the 70s, adventuring in her backyard timber with her fam and nights cuddled up on the couch with her husband with popcorn or rocky road.
She is continuously inspired by her love for her kiddos and family and strives to help families keep those memories as well through her work.
Maggie has taught seven in-person photography workshops, was a 2020 Unraveled Academy Artist of the Year, is an Unraveled Academy Instructor, Click Pro Master, top 100 female photographers to watch in 2021, certified drone pilot, and provides professional mentoring to other photographers.

meet jess
jess has been married to her husband Daniel for 11 years and they love to adventure, travel, DIY the ish outta their 1920 forever home, marathon food shows then search out delicious food to eat, hang out in coffee shops and enjoy local craft brews while sitting by a fire in their backyard.
She is a proud boy mom to Charlie and Elliot. Hearing them laugh, watching them play and getting to snuggle them are a few of her favorite weeknight activities.
Jess has made a profession out of storytelling. She is connected to her emotions and doesn’t mind being vulnerable so you can get in touch with yours as well. She's a family girl, a coffee addict, Netflix binge artist, lover of tacos, sunlight, rain and adventure. She's an enneagram 5 and naturally an introvert but an evening recharging at home with her boys gets her ready to tackle anything.
Jess has taught several in person workshops covering everything from iPhone-ography to educating educators on the importance of communication. She has mentored other photographers + small business owners, is an Unraveled Academy Expert Artist and Unraveled Academy teaching artist.
